Rainy Day Play

Today we're sharing a card using a set called Rainy Day Play.

Time To Make A Big Splash

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Stamp hippo and umbrella in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
  • Die cut large circle aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of image and secure in place with washi tape
  • Ink blend background using mini ink blending tool with three shades of blue ink
  • Add rain using mini ink blending tool with rain stencil and white pigment ink
  • Add buildings using mini ink blending tool with skyline stencil and grey ink
  • Remove masks and stencil, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with marker pen
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive runner
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink
