January Release Countdown Teasers Day 2: Roman Hippos

Welcome back to day 2 of the January Release Countdown Teasers.

Today we're introducing a set called Roman Hippos.

Hippo Hooray Have A Great Birthday

Instructions

A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
Stamp building in black ink on to 10 cm x 13.5 cm white card and mask
Die cut rectangle aperture from mylar sheet (or your preferred medium) to create stencil
Position custom made stencil centrally on top of stamped building and secure in place with washi tape
Create background using ink blending technique with blue ink, cloud stencil and mini ink blending tool
Remove stencil and mask, colour building with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
Manually draw additional background detail using markers, then adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
Stamp hippo in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
Cut out hippo with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
Stamp sentiment in black ink

Instructions

A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
Stamp hippos in black ink on to 10 cm x 13.5 cm white card, masking first hippo prior to stamping the second one
Remove mask, colour image with combination of markers and pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
Manually draw grass detail using markers
Stamp speech bubble and sentiment in black ink on to separate white card, cut out using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
Stamp second sentiment in black ink

A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
Stamp Colosseum in black ink on to 10 cm x 13.5 cm white card, draw a square frame around image using black pen and ruler
Colour image with markers and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
Stamp hippos in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
Cut out hippos with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
Stamp sentiment in black ink
