December Release Countdown Teasers Day 1: Introducing Santa Claws

The December release countdown teasers start today and we are delighted to have our resident guest designers Alberto Gava, Francine Vuillème and Kitty Day taking part this month.

There are six new stamp sets coming on the 1st of December and today we're introducing a stamp set called Santa Claws.

Santa Claws Is Coming To Town

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) landscape
• Stamp seabed scene on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, landscape orientation, and mask
• Die cut large rectangle aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
• Position custom made stencil centrally on top of stamped image and secure in place with washi tape
• Ink blend background using mini ink blending tool with yellow, green and turquoise inks
• Add sun ray detail on top using mini ink blending tool and stencil with white pigment ink
• Remove stencils and mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with marker pen
• Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
• Stamp crab in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with marker pen
• Cut out crab with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
• Stamp sentiments in black ink

I Think You're Clawsome

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) landscape
• Die cut large oval aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
• Position custom made stencil centrally, landscape orientation, on top of 10 cm x 14 cm white card and secure in place with washi tape
• Mask off the bottom of the oval stencil using washi tape
• Ink blend background using mini ink blending tool with blue and cerise inks
• Add detail on top using white ink spray, remove stencil and leave to dry thoroughly
• Stamp sentiment in watermark ink, sprinkle over white embossing powder and set with heat tool
• Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
• Stamp crab in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with marker pen
• Cut out crab with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
• Stamp sentiment in black ink
