April Release Countdown Teasers Day 1: Brighter Days and Freshwater Friends

The April release countdown teasers start today and we are super duper happy that the truly lovely Francine Vuillème is once again guest designing for us.

Also joining us this month is the absolutely fabulous Kitty Day.  Kitty has been a firm favourite of ours for longer than we can remember so needless to say we feel incredibly lucky to have her guest designing in April.

There are six new stamp sets coming on the 5th of April and today we're introducing two stamp sets called Brighter Days and Freshwater Friends.

It's Okay To Put Things Off Until Tomorrow

Instructions

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
• Stamp waterfall scene in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
• Ink blend background using mini ink blending tool with varying shades of green ink
• Add grass detail along the bottom using mini ink blending tool with stencil and dark green ink
• Remove mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
• Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
• Stamp otters and beavers in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
• Cut out otters and beavers with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
• Stamp sentiment in black ink

Brighter Days Are Ahead

Instructions

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
• Stamp rainbow scene in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
• Ink blend background using mini ink blending tool with two shades of blue ink
• Remove mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
• Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
• Stamp unicorns in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
• Cut out unicorns with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
• Stamp sentiment in black ink
