Welcome back to day 3 of the September Release Countdown Teasers.
Today we're introducing a stamp set called Hippo Halloween.
Have A Fiendishly Fun-Filled Birthday
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp hippos in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked
- Die cut a circle aperture from mylar sheet (or preferred medium) and place over the image, securing in place with washi tape
- Create background using ink blending technique, as shown in this video
- Remove all masks, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
Park Your Broom & Sit For A Spell
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Die cut circle from masking paper and adhere to lower part of 10 cm x 14 cm white card
- Create background using ink blending technique with shades of blue ink
- Add starry sky effect with white ink spray and gel pen, remove mask and colour moon with markers, then adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp cityscape in black ink on to separate white card and colour the windows with markers
- Cut out cityscape using scissors and adhere to card using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp hippo in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out hippo using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment with black ink
Trick or Treat / Best Witches
Instructions
- Die cut tags from black and orange card, then die cut decorative edge along the bottom of the orange tag
- Stamp stripey pattern on to the orange tag with white pigment ink
- Adhere the orange tag on top of the black tag using foam sheet cut to size
- Die cut small circle from green card, stamp spotty pattern on to circle with white pigment ink and adhere to tag using foam pads
- Die cut sentiment strip from purple card, stamp sentiment on to it with black ink and adhere to tag using foam pads
- Stamp hippo and accessories with black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out hippo and accessories with scissors and adhere to tag using foam pads
- Die cut hole reinforcement from black card and adhere to tag using glue pen
- Attach black twine and tie in a bow
Happy Halloween Have A Spooktacular Day
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp Halloween background on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask it off
- Create background using ink blending technique with shades of blue ink and add starry sky effect with white ink spray and gel pen
- Remove mask and colour image with markers, add white highlight detail with gel pen, then adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp sentiment with watermark ink, sprinkle over white embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Stamp hippos in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out hippos using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
