Welcome back to day 2 of the September Release Countdown Teasers.
Today we're introducing a couple of stamp sets called Train of Terror and Happy Everything.
Happy Birthday To You May Your Day Be Filled With Joy & Laughter
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp train, carriages and characters in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked
- Die cut a small circle from masking paper and adhere to top right of the scene
- Die cut hill outline from mylar sheet (or your preferred medium) to create stencil
- Create background using the hill stencil, and ink blending technique, as shown in this video
- Add starry sky effect with white ink spray and gel pen
- Remove all masks, colour images with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp steam cloud and speech bubble in black ink on to separate white card, cut out with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
Trick or Treat Have A Spooktacular Halloween
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Die cut circle aperture from mylar sheet (or your preferred medium), secure in place on top of 10 cm x 14 cm white card using washi tape
- Create background using ink blending technique with yellow and orange ink, then add tree silhouette using stencil, blending tool and black pigment ink
- Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp train, carriages and characters in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out train, carriages and characters with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment with black ink
Have A Fiendishly Fun-Filled Birthday
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp train, carriage and character in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked
- Mask off a rectangle panel using washi tape
- Create background using ink blending technique with pale blue ink, then add web detail using stencil, blending tool and white pigment ink
- Remove all masks, colour images with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
