The countdown teasers for September start today with six new stamp sets coming on the 1st of September.
We are unbelievably lucky to have the incredible Joy Taylor guest designing this month. Joy is currently on the Design Team of My Favorite Things, a leading brand in the industry and we have been admiring her fabulous creations on instagram for quite a while now. We are extremely excited to have her on board for our September and October releases! Joy has made some amazing cards and we can't wait for you to see them.
Today we're introducing two stamp sets called Halloween Plushies and Picture It Halloween.
Trick or Treat Have A Spooktacular Halloween
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp vampire, witch and mummy plushies in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked, then stamp Halloween backdrop, mask this too
- Create background using ink blending technique with indigo and orange ink, add starry sky effect with white spray and gel pen
- Remove all masks, colour images with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Stamp sentiment with watermark ink, sprinkle over white embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
Have A Spooky Halloween
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Cut 1 cm x 12 cm strips of green, purple and orange card, adhere strips to card base using adhesive roller
- Die cut circle from 10 cm x 14 cm white card and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp skeleton, witch and mummy plushies in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out skeleton, witch and mummy plushies using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp speech bubble and sentiment in black ink on to separate white card, cut out with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment with watermark ink on to thin strip of black card, sprinkle over white embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Adhere sentiment to card using foam pads
A Little Naughty But Very Nice
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp mummy, devil and skeleton plushies in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked, then stamp shelf and mask this too
- Die cut a circle aperture from mylar sheet (or your preferred medium) and place over the image, adhering in place with washi tape
- Create background using ink blending technique with purple ink, then add web detail using stencil, blending tool and white pigment ink
- Remove all masks, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Stamp sentiment with black ink
To My Handsome Devil
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Cut 2 cm x 8.5 cm strip of green card and 2 cm x 9.5 cm of orange card, stamp pattern on to each of them using white pigment ink
- Stamp sentiment in black ink on to the strip of green card
- Adhere orange strip to 10 cm x 14 cm white card using adhesive roller and adhere the green strip on top using foam pads, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp mummy, devil, skeleton and accessories in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out mummy, devil, skeleton and accessories using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp speech bubble and sentiment in black ink on to separate white card, cut out with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
