Welcome back to day 5 of the October Release Countdown Teasers.
Today we're introducing two new stamp sets called Nativity Play and Pop Up Christmas.
Silent Night Holy Night
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp star, mice and stable in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked
- Create background using ink blending technique with pale yellow and red ink
- Manually draw and colour stage scene with markers
- Remove all masks and colour images with markers
- Stamp sentiment in watermark ink on to strip of 2.5 cm x 10 cm black card, sprinkle over gold embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Adhere sentiment strip to card using adhesive roller
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Stamp stable in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
- Die cut a circle aperture from mylar sheet (or preferred medium) and place over the image, securing in place with washi tape
- Create background using ink blending technique with blue ink, then add snowfall on top using white gel pen
- Remove mask, colour image with markers and attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp mice in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out mice using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
Sending Christmas Cheer
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Create background on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card using ink blending technique with three shades of blue ink, allow to dry
- Stamp fireworks and sentiment with watermark ink, sprinkle over white embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp stable and mice in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out stable and mice using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Die cut a hill outline from mylar sheets (or your preferred medium) to create a stencil
- Create background on 10 cm x 14 cm white card using the stencil and ink blending technique with pale blue and lilac ink, add falling snow with white gel pen
- Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp sleigh, characters, trees and accessories in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out sleigh, characters, trees and accessories with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp speech bubbles in black ink on to separate white card, cut out with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in watermark ink on to thin strip of black card, sprinkle over white embossing powder, then set and emboss with heat tool
- Adhere sentiment strip to card using foam pads
All I Want For Christmas Is You
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) landscape
- Die cut three small stitched rectangle apertures from 10 cm x 14 cm white card and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Die cut three small stitched rectangles from pale aqua card, position and adhere them within the rectangle apertures
- Stamp characters and accessories in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out characters and accessories using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
'Tis The Season To Be Jolly
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Adhere 10 cm x 14 cm white card stock to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp characters, stockings and buttons in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out characters, stockings and buttons using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
Christmas Cheer
Instructions
- A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
- Mask off large rectangle on 10 cm x 14 cm white and create background card using ink blending technique with pale blue ink, then add snow effect on top using stencil, ink blending tool and white pigment ink
- Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
- Stamp two elves in black ink on to separate white card and mask them both prior to stamping the sleigh
- Remove masks, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
- Cut out image using scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
- Stamp sentiment in black ink
