May Release Countdown Teasers Day 1: Sweet Seahorse & Feeling Sentimental

The countdown teasers for May start today with eight new stamp sets coming on the 1st of May.

Today we're introducing a couple of stamp sets called Sweet Seahorse and Feeling Sentimental.

Congratulations On Your Wedding Day

Instructions

• 10.5 cm square white card base (4" x 4" approx.)
• Stamp seahorses in black ink on to 10 cm x 10 cm white card and mask them both with masking paper
• Die cut circle from masking paper and adhere over masked seahorses
• Create background using ink blending technique with light blue and darker blue inks, add white highlight detail with gel pen
• Remove all masks, colour seahorses with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
• Stamp sentiment in black ink

Be Mine Happy Valentine's Day

Instructions

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
• Stamp seahorses in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, mask them both before stamping balloons in black ink, then mask the balloons too
• Create background using ink blending technique with green and yellow inks
• Remove all masks, colour image with pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen, then adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size
• Stamp sentiment in black ink

Have Lots of Fun on Your Special Day

Instructions

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
• Stamp seahorses in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask them all with masking paper
• Die cut heart from masking paper and adhere over masked seahorses
• Create background using ink blending technique with lilac and turquoise inks
• Remove all masks and colour seahorses with pencils, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
• Stamp sentiment in black ink

Happy Birthday Have a Fabulous Day

Instructions

• A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
• Create background on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card using sun ray stencil, yellow ink and sponge dauber, then attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size
• Die cut scalloped edges from turquoise card in two shades and varying widths
• Stamp sentiment in watermark ink on to the thinnest scalloped edged turquoise card, sprinkle over white embossing powder then set and emboss with heat tool
• Adhere scalloped edged pieces to card using adhesive roller for the first layer and foam sheets cut to size for subsequent layers
• Stamp seahorses and starfish in black ink on to separate white card and colour using pencils
• Die cut seahorses and starfish and adhere to card using foam pads
