March Release Countdown Teasers Day 3: Pick A Plushie & Prickly Plushies

Welcome back to day 3 of the March Release Countdown Teasers.

Today we're introducing two stamp sets called Pick A Plushie and Prickly Plushies.

You Really Are The Sweetest

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Stamp fruit in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask every individual image
  • Create background using ink blending technique with pale blue ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove all masks, colour images with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Attach to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink on to strip of white card, cut at a slant on one end, and adhere to card using foam pads

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Die cut large circle aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of 10 cm x 14 cm white card and secure in place with washi tape
  • Create background using ink blending technique with yellow and pink inks, and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove stencil and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp vegetables in black ink on to separate white card, colour with a combination of markers and pencils, then add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out vegetables with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp both sentiments in black ink

  • Die cut large rectangle aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of 10 cm x 14 cm white card and secure in place with washi tape
  • Create background using ink blending technique with cloud outline stencil, pale blue ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Add grass detail using stencil, green ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Add soil detail using stencil, dark brown ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove all stencils and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp vegetables in black ink on to separate white card, colour with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out vegetables with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Stamp desert backdrop in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
  • Create background using ink blending technique with orange and yellow inks, and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp potted cacti in black ink on to separate white card, colour with a combination of markers and pencils, then add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out potted cacti with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Die cut a large circle from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of 10 cm x 14 cm white card and secure in place with washi tape
  • Create background using ink blending technique with stencil, pale blue ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove stencils and adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp potted cacti in black ink on to separate white card and colour with a combination of markers and pencils, then add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out potted cacti with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) landscape
  • Stamp potted cacti in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card, masking each image prior to stamping the next until all images are masked
  • Die cut six small square apertures from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of masked images and secure in place with washi tape
  • Create background using ink blending technique with orange and yellow inks, and mini ink blending tool
  • Add city skyline detail using stencil, dark grey ink and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove all stencils and masks, then colour images with markers
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Die cut speech bubble from separate white card, stamp sentiment in black ink and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp another sentiment in black ink
