April Release Countdown Teasers Day 2: An Open Book & Bedtime Story

Welcome back to day 2 of the April Release Countdown Teasers.

Today we're introducing two stamp sets called An Open Book and Bedtime Story.

The Book Is Always Better Than The Movie

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Stamp book in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
  • Create background using ink blending technique with pink and cerise inks, and mini ink blending tool
  • Remove mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp cats in black ink on to separate white card, colour with combination of markers and pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out cats with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink

 

It's Never Too Late To Live Happily Ever After

Instructions

  • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
  • Stamp toadstools and daisies in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
  • Die cut large rectangle aperture from mylar sheet to create reusable stencil
  • Position custom made stencil centrally on top of image and secure in place with washi tape
  • Create background using ink blending technique with cloud outline stencil, blue ink and mini ink blending tool for the sky and green ink for the grass
  • Remove stencil and mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp cats in black ink on to separate white card, colour with combination of markers and pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out cats with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Stamp sentiment in black ink

 

Believe In Yourself

Instructions

  • 10.5 cm square white card base (4" x 4" approx.)
  • Stamp castle backdrop in black ink on to 10 cm x 10 cm white card and mask
  • Create background using ink blending technique with blue ink and mini ink blending tool for the sky and green ink for the grass
  • Remove mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
  • Stamp cats in black ink on to separate white card, colour with combination of markers and pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen
  • Cut out cats with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
  • Die cut speech bubble from separate white card, stamp sentiment in black ink and adhere to card using foam pads

     

    Keep Feeding Your Imagination

    Instructions

    • A6 white card base (4" x 5.5" approx.) portrait
    • Stamp London backdrop in black ink on to 10 cm x 14 cm white card and mask
    • Create background using ink blending technique with yellow, orange and red inks and mini ink blending tool
    • Add sun ray detail on top using stencil with white pigment ink and mini ink blending tool
    • Remove stencil and mask, colour image with markers and add white highlight detail with gel pen
    • Adhere to card base using foam sheet cut to size and adhesive roller
    • Stamp cat in black ink on to separate white card, colour with combination of markers and pencils and add white highlight detail with gel pen
    • Cut out cat with scissors and adhere to card using foam pads
    • Stamp sentiment in black ink
